DESIGNER NOTE:

As I began the creation process of the Mozh Mozh AW19 collection, my background of music transported me to 1970’s Jamaica and the powerful women who broke barriers singing reggae. And got me thinking about powerful women. It was not without irony that I ended up at my sister’s wedding in Texas , and discovered that a good pair of boots and a wide rimmed cowboy hat can make a woman feel stronger that she knew she could. Then, life led me to the amazon and shiringa; a plant-based, sustainable latex that can be used to replace leather, and became integral to this collection.

Through these experiences, and so many more, i further understood that respect for the environment, sharing the gifts you’ve been given, and feeling free to express who you are, at the core of what makes us proud, unique, and dynamic.

I am very excited to share this collection with you.
