#BTS COLM DILLANE PAINTS RUSS ALBUM COVER ZOO
Colm Dillane is the creator of ever changing lifestyle brand KIDSUPER, consisting of a record label, and clothing line. ” Build it and they will come” is one of his mantras at his store front located in BROOKLYN New York,Russ being one of the few artists to have stayed at the store. one of the few songs created at the studio, WILLY WONKA and chart topping WHAT THEY WANT quickly became fans favorite. Soon after RUSS debuted his first album in 2017, There’s Really A Wolf, Dillane did the art work and took a minimal approach to it. He did a series of artwork within the album booklet and the merchandise.
Therefore it’s only right with for RUSS’s second album, he got back to the drawing board and created another masterpiece. this time he showcase a different part of his ability to paint. In this video he gives an exclusive insight on the idea of the painting. Not only did the video showcase the way his mind works and what it took to paint this.. it gives a message that anything is possible. He made a name for himself by inspiring other creatives, with his lifestyle brand, showing his progress by taking his followers into his whimsical world.
BACK COVER OF ZOO
Each screen grab of the animals on the front cover and the humans on the back, make this painting very personal. Just like the music the artwork is very rooted, we can all somewhat relate to it and have many debates about the paintings and the music. its an overall great project, worth listening to. If wallpapers of the art work were to be available its a must have!
After he posted the video via the KIDUPER’S instagram, an immediate text was sent to have it on the A.R.T.S.Y site. Most importantly, it is much of what we pride ourselves to post here at A.R.T.S.Y, with the intentions to inspire our faithful readers. Colm’s Dedication to his work, his patience, grind and tenacity to pull off every project. An accomplishment for the artist, as his work premiered on a billboard via TIMES SQUARE here in NYC.
Listen to ZOO, it’s now streaming on every streaming service.
