Do It Yourself is the epitome of personal creativity, rather than a product coming manufactured from a company complete, it’s done by one person. This is the season to stay at home with family, as it gets a little colder. The colder it gets, the more our skin changes. Skin becomes dry and sometimes flaky. So I decided to share some of my favorite hydration routines.
Brown Sugar Lip Scrub – Personal Receipt
2 Tbsp. of brown sugar
2 drops of olive oil
1 drop of coconut oil
After blending the ingredients, this is perfect for adding into your skincare routine two times per week. Scrubbing your lips with this concoction helps to get rid of the dead skin and dry flakes during this season. Coconut oil and olive oil are both great for hydration. The brown sugar is great for exfoliating without being too abrasive.
Avocado Hair Mask
2 teaspoons of honey
1 teaspoon of olive oil
This is perfect for restoring hair, plus it protects hair from breakage! During the Winter, hair can become brittle and dry. Avocados are very nutritious and contain a wide variety of nutrients, packed with 20 different vitamins and minerals!
Raw Milk and Honey Face Mask
5 Tbsp. of Raw Milk
2 Tbsp. of honey
Mixing the ingredients will create a paste, let this mask sit for 20 minutes.
This mask gives the skin an overall brighter appearance, also effective for eliminating dry areas on the face. This will give your skin extreme hydration. Raw milk also acts as an anti-aging moisturizer and keeps the skin firm.
