Connecting Urban Barbie with Stylish Versatility

July 1, 2014

Photographer Antonio Griffith, better known as “Aagdolla”, and I met up with the beautiful model, Lexi Scott Davis. At first, I honestly didn’t know what creative direction I was going for as far as location, until I started searching for potential props to add to the existing wardrobe. After styling Lexi’s first look, it was clear to me she was a life-size Barbie. From the first look, her movements and vibe reminded me of the movie “Life-Size” starring Tyra Banks, but a 2014 version. By no means was she your average Barbie! However, she remained active and attractive. Throughout the shoot, she played many contrasting roles ranging from “little miss prissy” to flat out “badass”. What Barbie do you know who wants to play basketball during the day and drink a casual 40 at night? Own it.
