It was a special evening in celebration of the launch of the highly anticipated alice + olivia capsule collection with the late Neo-expressionist artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. The collaboration was made possible through a partnership with the Basquiat Estate, serving as the second capsule collection from Bendet that supports the CFDA Foundation Inc.
In a pioneering moment for the fashion industry, alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet, in partnership with Samsung and Curalate, activated a virtual reality see-now-buy-now experience at the launch event for the alice + olivia x Basquiat CFDA capsule collection. With the help of Curalate’s newest technology (currently in beta), Reveal 360°, and Samsung Gear 360, event attendees and the global online a+o community were able to tour, explore and shop the #AOXBASQUIAT exhibit via a series of immersive shoppable 360° content.
As the doors opened at The Hole Gallery at in NYC, the global a+o community was granted unique access to see inside the exclusive event and shop the limited edition #AOXBASQUIAT CFDA capsule collection via a series of interactive 360° content – now live on www.aliceandolivia.com.
